pottery is a real cottage industry. The potters work in the
former dairy building adjacent to their home, a thatched Devon
longhouse. Established in the 1970s, it is one of the
few working potteries in Devon where visitors can still see
pots being made by traditional hand "throwing". They
are welcome to watch the potters whilst they make pots, sculptures
and hand modelled animals. Visitors can ask questions about
the craft in a friendly studio atmosphere, have a "hands
on" experience on the pottery wheel, or simply browse in
the shop and gallery. |
