Vaughan and Angela Glanville have been making their distinctive and unusual pottery for a quarter of a century. Both having their individual styles, techniques and designs. Vaughan "throws" pots on the pottery wheel and makes sculptural pieces when the time permits. He trained at Exeter College of Art and Reading University. Angela designs ceramics and models animal figures, many combined with pots producing some original ideas. She trained at Hornsea College of Art, Exeter College of Art and Reading University. The studio is based in the dairy of a former Devon Longhouse which is located in a delightful rural setting, tucked away in the small hamlet of Wiggaton, one mile from Ottery St Mary, 5 miles from the coast at Sidmouth and 11 miles from Exeter. |
